JOB DESCRIPTION
A public accounting firm in Mississauga are in search for a Senior Accountant.
Tired of working extremely long hours during tax season? If you are looking for a public firm with work-life balance, a respectful and friendly work environment, and flexibility, this role is for you.
This role is a hybrid position but onboarding and training will be onsite.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead audit of non-profit organizations and for-profit entities
- Prepare personal tax returns, corporation tax returns, HST, PSB
- Conduct light bookkeeping if needed
- Lead and manage audit file from start to finish
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- CPA designation
- Previous experience in a public accounting firm
- Previous experience in auditing non-profit organizations and churches is a strong asset
- Experience with QuickBooks, CaseWare, MS Office, JazzIt, iFirm (training will be provided)
- Time management skills – ability to work under tight deadlines while delivering quality work
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal English skills
