Accounting Manager
Burlington, ON
A well-established registered investment management firm, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join their team.
They are a family-oriented organization based in Burlington, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage fund and corporate audits and ensure compliance with various other regulations.
- Analyze and validate financial data, including reviewing and creating spreadsheets.
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial entries and monthly reporting.
- Help to oversee the Funds’ weekly and monthly NAVs, ensuring accurate transactional activity.
- Support the compliance regime, including updating the Compliance Manual and regulatory reporting.
- Participate in additional tasks and assist the Management Team as required.
Qualifications:
- CPA, CA designation preferred.
- 2-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and an understanding of QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
